Episode #114 – AFL Round 15 Wrapped

The last of the bye rounds means the sprint to the finals is on. Losses get forgiven as tapering off for a final assault on September, and we put the teams under the microscope to see who will get their nose across the line, with Jake Carlisle leading the race.

Essendon once again did rock up and did participate in a game of football. S’about all you can really say on that front. Port remind Richmond why they’re not playing finals, with a clinic on sharking taps and centre clearances akin to their previous finals demolition of the Tiges.
Gold Coast put on a performance that makes you both happy and frustrated, with the Saints fans just being frustrated. Game of the round was definitely Sydney versus the Bulldogs, adding more chaos to the top 8 as the jockeying for home finals and just finals at all taking place.
Carlton versus Collingwood was a lot like the election held that day, unfortunately someone had to win and the general public wanted neither. Unlike the election though, someone did win.

Melbourne put in a fighting performance against an on point Crows, and does this mean we can pencil in the Crows for premiership favourites. We hate adding fuel to any S.A hype, but it’s getting hard to ignore.

We also discuss the legitimacy of the bye rounds, our highlights of the week and plenty more in this episode!
